I can't decide. My favorites this year were Doubt, Gran Torino and Milk... and I think they all deserve best picture.
I still need to see Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button... from what I've heard, Slumdog Millionaire is the one that deserves to win.
If I have to choose a winner, I'd have to say Milk...
...or maybe Doubt.
Gahhhh, I can't decide.
Edit:
OMG, Sean Penn won for Best Actor. I believe he deserved it. As the list of actors went on, I truly believed that Sean Penn did the best performance this year.
Kate Winslet's speech was moving. You could really sense her joy. However, I still think Merryl Streep should've won, even though she doesn't really need any more Academy Awards... And it would've been nice to see Anne Hathaway win it as well, but I'm just saying that because I like Anne Hathaway. I honestly have never seen "Rachel's Getting Married", though I heard its really good.
While we're on the subject of movies, I also want to talk about this:

I doubt a band whose first album was entirely based off vampires would be interested in having any part of the Twilight series--the suckiest vampire series in the history of vampires series (and by "suckiest", I don't mean that as a compliment!).
Twilight may not be the crappiest series of all time (though I'm sure most people would disagree with me on that)... but it
is the crappiest vampire series.
My only problem with MCR's decision is that I sort of feel bad for Stephenie Meyer, who's a fan of the band. Key words being "sort of".
Gahhh. Enough of the Twilight rant.
Let's talk about Watchmen.
I liked MCR's cover. And the music video is amazing. Riots, rebellion, MCR looking sexy (OMG, Mikey's never looked so hawt)... it was amazing.
My favorite band is taking a part of my (possibly) favorite movie based off my favorite comic book.
I'm just glad that MCR, a band that's filled with comic book nerds, were able to be a part of a comic book they liked.
I know there are still a lot of Dylan fans that are upset that My Chemical Romance covered "Desolation Row". Well, I have nothing to say to that. I think it's a good cover but I could be biased. I
do know that if someone covered a MCR song, I guess I'd be offended too, so I do understand the complaints...
